Hello to all my fellow readers and book-bloggers! My name is Lea, I am a 20-something librarian, and I just recently began my own book blog, called LC's Adventures in Libraryland. Basically, I read and review everything under the category of "YA Fiction," and I REALLY try to include as many different genres under that label as possible-- so, while I love paranormal romance, historical fiction, dystopian, etc. I also try to include contemporary fiction, books by male authors with male protagonists, YA classics by older authors, and more. I keep my reviews as honest as possible (I'm not afraid to give a negative opinion either) and I am definitely looking forward to discussing my YA reads with you in the future!! :) Please feel free to stop by and give me your own opinion-- I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your own favorite YA books :)

Also, just a side note: If you are a librarian, a library student, or are just into librarians (haha) I have another blog based on my profession called Stacking Up: A Blog for the Modern Librarian, where I discuss personal experiences and professional issues about working in libraries. Please visit if this sounds like something you might be interested in!  Thank you, and happy reading!!

Girl About Books

My name is Mia, 20-something Filipina book blogger, I've just recently started my own book blog. It focuses mainly on YA novels. I created one because I like sharing of what I thought about the books that I've read and just because book blogging seems really fun. You meet other book enthusiasts and you can talk about books on and on with them.

Just a Canadian high school student (eh?) who prefers reading to homework. The site is an insight to my mind and my opinions (and my brain!) about things book related-including lots of Book Reviews-, music related, and life related. Though mostly about books... of course. I summarize, give my long opinion, rant/squee, and give a rating out of 10 on my book reviews, and am participating in upcoming challenges for 2010. I am a library lover, despite book-buying-binges, and I am also a total Harry Potter nerd! My favourite activities include reading, stalking blogs, TV, and basketball/hockey :)

"Guy Gone Geek is a book blog maintained by me, a book geek. I’ve been embracing this bookish persona for already a year now and I guess it’s just about time to create my very own book blog. I’ve chosen Guy Gone Geek as my blog title because 1. I’m a guy 2. also a geek and 3. the books I will review or feature here are mostly about guy-friendly books. If you’re a lazy person like me, you can call my blog simply 3G. However, if you’re feeling totally nerdy, you can call it G3. *big grin*

I also have this kind of “mission” to put boy readers and boy books on the blogosphere map. This is my way of saying “Hey, Guys reading for fun exist too, y’know!”''

A Reader's Review is a Young Adult and Children's Fiction book review blog. I am studying and learning all I can about writing for children/young adults, and I thought a blog would be a great place to compile my research. Hopefully, you will find the information useful, too. Aside from reviews, the blog contains useful links ("Lotta Links" blogs), helpful information, what I have learned from the book ("Lessons Learned" blogs), and more. I love, love, love books – to read or just to smell, hold or look at. And of course, the adventures they take me on. Will you join me?

I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, an addiction to chocolate and a love of reading. My blog focuses on YA books, although occasionally I will review adult ones as well. I read a variety of genres within YA, including fantasy, realistic fiction, dystopian, and historical, and I will also admit to a fondness for some classics (like Jane Austen!) I love interacting with other book bloggers, so feel free to drop on by for a visit!

Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I run Hooked On Books. I am a recent library school grad and am hoping to become a children's or YA librarian. (I am currently still looking for a job!) Still a little new to the whole blog world so it is still a work in progress. I review mostly YA books, but there are a few children's and adult books mixed in. I love reading and I try to read a little bit of everything, but YA literature is my passion. I seem to love YA lit more now as an adult. My other loves besides reading are movies, TV and music and I may include mention of some these things elements every once in awhile. I started this blog as a way to connect with other readers, bloggers and hopefully authors. I hate reviews that ruin a book (good or bad, I like to discover what is going to happen on my own) so I try to keep my reviews brief and only convey whether I loved or hated it. So...Happy Reading!

Book Labyrinth

Hi, my name is Ashley, and I run Book Labyrinth. I am an MLIS student who hopes to work as a children's & YA librarian in the future. My love of reading was pretty much an inevitability, as my parents read to me even before I was born. I have a real passion for YA literature which developed in my teen years and still continues on strong. Besides reading a good book, I love watching TV and keeping up with pop culture news. Book Labyrinth, a YA book review blog, was started in August 2010. Its primary purpose is to provide an outlet for my "reading habit" and to connect me with other YA readers and book bloggers. I also hope to convey my dedication to libraries and literacy through the posts on this blog.

Rebecca Books

Rebecca-Books is pretty new to the world of book blogging. The site has things all related to books...and occasionally, a record of anything exciting that's happened in my life outside the blogosphere, which is rare. I review mostly books in the YA category - mostly historical or romance but I'm up anything mostly. I've always read since an early age and absolutely love books and reading in general. My favourite authors are Sarah Dessen, Mary Hooper and Patrick Ness, just to name a few. :)

I started my book blog about 5 months ago. At first it was mainly a way to keep track of all the books I read, because I go through them so fast, sometimes I forget easily. I am completely addicted to books, ever since I got hooked on the Babysitters Club series in 2nd grade. If I am in the middle of a good one, there is no way you can pry me from it. My blog mainly consists of reviews, but I also have other bookish kind of posts on there.

Books, reading, and literature. As a high school librarian most of my reviews focus on young adult literature...but not all. See for yourself and feel free to join in the conversation about good books.

Basically, our blog is a Young Adult book blog. We read all sorts of genres (though we like fantasy and romance best) and review all sorts of books, most of them YA of course. We created this blog because back in April or May we came across The Story Siren and got inspired to share our love of books with the world! Long story short? We're two teens in high school from Minnesota who love reading, and we dedicate our spare time to sharing our love of books with the world through reviews, memes, interactive features, giveaways, and all things book related.

Hi! I've been a blogger since April 2008 (http://marybrebner.blogspot.com/) and recently created a blog called Ms. B's Book Swarm dedicated to book reviews and other book-related posts. Book Swarm is mainly a young adult and middle grade book review blog with some other genres thrown in for good measure.

I am not be the only person reviewing books on this blog. As an 8th grade English teacher in South Carolina as well as a book blogger and YA writer, I have the opportunity to solicit opinions from teen readers. My students are guest bloggers, reviewing ARCs, new books, books of their choice, and teacher-assigned books. Guest reviewers range in age from 6th grade through high school (approximately 12-17 years old).

Besides reviews, I love to interview authors, though I lean towards more informal and uncommon questions (the more unusual questions tend to come from my students, as they are interested in both how the author wrote the book as well as the author as a person).

Hey Everyone!

I don't usually reach out on here, as this is space for my followers to speak out and be heard. But today, I need your help. An author, Jody Kihara, has contacted me and is looking for bloggers to review her new YA book online - for free, of course! If you like what you read, she has more books and mentions that even more will be coming soon!

If anyone is interested, please email me where we can all exchange contact information.

Thanks guys!

To people who don't have a passion for books, they just see them as "Just A Book". To book lovers, books are much more than that. They have the ability to make you cry or scream for joy. They teach you lessons, and even some books, the books that really strike you as something, leave you wondering and thinking.

Bio: My Blog "More Than Just A Book" mainly focuses on YA Books. It's pretty much a random mix of Book Reviews (old, not yet-released, and newly released books) News of YA Books around the Internet like New Books, Release Dates, Artistic Covers, and just interesting stuff I find on the Internet about my favorite authors and books. I haven't had the honor of interviewing any authors but I am looking forward to the opportunity! Occasionally, I also mention my own personal experiences as a Teen Reader. I can post up to 1 - 5 or more posts a day, depending on what I stumble upon. You never know what you're gonna find and post, that's why I love being a Blogger.

I'm a 30 year old Aussie girl who is addicted to reading (in the very best of ways). I started inkcrush in May 2010 and it's all about crushing on the inky goodness in the world. I'm mostly on about YA books and I like to give a shout out to the awesomeness that is Aussie YA. I sometimes post a little about writing too :) I post reviews and cover comparisons and love hosting give-aways.

Bio: Well, my name is Ayesha and I'm a Brit chick totally obsessed with books. I love reading them, buying them and collecting them. The Readings of a Busy Mom is my escape from my 2 little girls and is where I can share my passion with many others who enjoy doing the same and if by my sharing one person picks up a book then I'm happy. As well as reading lots of books I also love to watch movies, scrapbook and as a pro photographer (on break because of the kiddo's) I love to take photographs.

I enjoy reading all types of genre books and some I enjoy more than others but it doesn't limit me to just one genre. The only books I don't read is crime...one day maybe but right now I've come across none that keep me engaged. My book shelves are ever growing and so does my wish list of being a busy mom who has time to read A LOT :o)
