Mariam Maarouf is a 16-year-old high school student who lives in Alexandria, Egypt. She writes articles for the school magazines and she worked as a translator for a publishing house for a couple of years. She is inspired by stories of teens like herself as she thinks they see the world through different eyes than how adults see it. Rosie is her debut YA novel.
